Support agencies, and what each actually does

A recurring part asks for an advantage of using a named agency — the skill is knowing what each ACTUALLY provides, not just its name.

Treating a support agency as a funding source

NZTE and similar agencies are most often examined for the KNOWLEDGE and CONTACTS they provide, not for money. "It funds the business's expansion" misses the actual mechanism — the advantage is cutting the cost, risk and TIME of entering a market the business does not yet understand, through market intelligence and introductions.

Naming an advantage precisely

  • Name the AGENCY, the SPECIFIC service it provides, and the RESULT for the business (lower risk, faster entry, better-informed decisions).
  • A generic "it helps the business" answer misses the mechanism the schedule is looking for.
