Analyse: Achieved's word: address the chosen question and its specified aspect, and show awareness that meaning was deliberately crafted.
Convincingly: Merit's word: a reasoned discussion of one or more ideas, with a range of specific details from the text woven into the response.
Perceptively: Excellence's word: an insightful or original argument, and a judgement about how effects and meanings relate to the text's purpose.
Specified aspect: Whatever the chosen question names — structure, language features, setting, contrast — the thing your evidence must be ABOUT.
